The Mecha Ashika is the boss of Aqua Lake Zone, the third level in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (8-bit). This mechanical walrus attacks Sonic by means of an inflatable, explosive ball. Sonic must hit the ball as the robotic sea lion is still in the process of blowing it up, in order to do any damage. Other attacks will be repulsed, as the machine simply bounces Sonic atop its robotic nose, before tossing him to the side of the screen.
