Mad Matrix is an Action Stage set in Eggman's mainframe in Shadow the Hedgehog.
Purpose
After either assiting Charmy Bee collect the five disks at Prison Island, or simply retreiving the Chaos Emerald from Circus Park, Shadow enters a part of one of Dr. Eggman's bases, to find Espio the Chameleon, Vector the Crocodile, and Charmy attempting to hack into a computer. After helping them complete the hack (by smashing the keyboard), Shadow finds himself in the 'Blue Network' of Eggman's Mad Matrix, inside of which Espio asks shadow to help him hack all 4 terminals.
Missions
- Hero: Espio the Chameleon: Hack into Eggman's database.
- Neutral: Get to the core of Mad Matrix.
- Dark: Black Doom: Detonate 30 bombs.
Boss Battle
The boss of Mad Matrix is the Egg Breaker, a robot that resembles the Egg Emperor. It contains a quote many fans hate where Eggman says "You know what they say, the more the merrier!" and repeats it over and over whenever you go near him when he is standing there. He then launches bombs in all directions.
