Knight's Passage is the eighth stage of Sonic and the Black Knight for the Wii. Fleeing from the courtyard of Camelot Castle, Knight's Passage sees the heroes tear through the sewers and waterways beneath the great fortress, braving magic-induced floods and hordes of Knights of the Underworld. Portions of the level are spent riding the Camelot townspeople's underground boats.
This is the first stage where Sir Lancelot, Sir Gawain, and Sir Percival appear as (optional) playable characters.
Story
After defeating King Arthur on Faraway Avalon, Sonic returns to Camelot Castle just in time to prevent the Knights of the Round Table from executing Merlina. Sonic hands the Scabbard of Excalibur over to the sorceress, believing that this marks the end of the adventure... only for Merlina to draw on the Scabbard's power herself, and conjure a dark enchantment over the Grand Kingdom! As Camelot Castle morphs into a terrifying, sorcerous abomination, Sonic and the Knights make haste to escape.
In the cutscene after the level, Sonic and Nimue convince the Knights that hope is not quite lost; using their Sacred Swords, the creatures race off towards Shrouded Forest, The Cauldron, Great Megalith, and Dragon's Lair.
