The Kaizoku Hogan[1] (海賊ホーガン[2]) is an enemy robot that appears in Sonic Rush Adventure.
Overview
Kaizoku Hogans are among the biggest of the robotic pirates in Sonic Rush Adventure, sporting large purple bodies and thick arms. Found only on Hidden Islands with the generic "Hidden Island" theme, these robots remain in one spot, swinging their maces above their heads. Once approached, they will swing it in the direction of the player.
They are the only type of enemy in the game to require three hits to destroy, with a health bar displayed showing how many hits left. This trait comes from the Egg Hammers encountered in Sonic Rush and the Nintendo DS version of Sonic Colours.
