The Kabutoto (カブトト)Media:SonicLabyrinth GG JP manual.pdf[1] is an enemy that appears in Sonic Labyrinth, encountered only in the Labyrinth of the Sea Zone 2-1.

Based off a horseshoe crab, this Badnik sports a crimson body with silver legs and yellow fangs. It has no attack pattern of its own; in fact, there is actually only one in the whole game, which just sits in one place guarding a key. Sonic simply needs to Spin Dash into it to take its key.

Its name is derived from "kabutogani", which is the Japanese word for "horseshoe crab".
