Helen is a disabled girl who is Chris Thorndyke's classmate. She is a paraplegic and needs the aid of a wheelchair to get around. She sometimes accompanies Sonic and his friends on their adventures, and most of episode 14 is about her.

Helen is 126 cm (4ft 2in) tall, weighs 36 kg (78lb), and is 11 years old. When they are young, she shows no signs of having romantic feelings toward Chris, but in the future, Helen and Chris are romantically involved with each other. Helen's Japanese voice actress is Noriko Hidaka, and in the dub she is voiced by Amy Birnbaum.

Even though Helen's a paraplegic, her Sonic X artwork shows her standing.
