Heavy Shinobi is a boss encountered in Sonic Mania. The player confronts him at the end of Press Garden Zone Act 2. He's one of the members of Hard-Boiled Heavies. His attack pattern is based on a ninja's moves, he uses his katana to freeze the player and performs this attack quickly and also throws Asterons as if they were shuriken stars.

Defeat Strategy

While Heavy Shinobi is flipping in the air, he can be hit and will fall down stunned, giving the player a chance to hit him. Hit him 8 times to beat him and get to the next level.
