The Heart Mine (ハートマイン[1]) is a move used by Rouge the Bat in the 2006 Sonic the Hedgehog game. It is not documented in Western manuals for the game.
Overview
When climbing a wall, the player can press / to make Rouge place a pink heart-shaped mine on the surface of the wall. The mine will detonate a few seconds later, and the resulting explosion will destroy weak blockades to open new routes, or inflict damage on wall-bound enemies such as Egg Bombers. Rouge cannot place Heart Mines directly on enemies, so good timing is required when using them for offense.
