Green Hill Zone boss (8-bit)

Robotnik (Green Hill Zone Boss) is the battle against Dr. Robotnik in Green Hill Zone. This is an easy one to get you going, though don't forget that you won't have any rings when facing the fat man. Climb the mountain by running to the right and jumping the gaps. In the battle area, Robotnik hovers above Sonic back and forth across the screen. Eggman has eschewed attaching some random kill-weapon to his customary flying machine this time, and instead merely tries to murder Sonic by swooping down and ramming the hedgehog.
Sonic has to jump on (or under) Robotnik's ship to damage it. When Robotnik lands on the ground, he zooms to the other side of the screen, so watch out. Once you’ve landed eight hits, his ship explodes and the doctor retreats.
