Glyphic Canyon is the temple of the Black Arms in Shadow the Hedgehog (game).
Purpose
If Shadow steals the two Chaos Emeralds from Westopolis while ignoring everyone else, Black Doom sends Shadow to Glyphic Canyon for punishment. Shadow senses the gold Chaos Emerald and tries to find it. But you don't have to nab that emerald, you have the choice of helping Knuckles the Echidna or obeying Black Doom so you don't get punished again.
Missions
Hero: Knuckles the Echidna: Drive out all 60 Black Arms.
Neutral: Steal the Chaos Emerald.
Dark: Black Doom: Activate the Sky Troops.
