Game: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (16-bit) |
Gator is a scrapped Badnik, originally intended to be used in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Gator is unique among scrapped Badniks for the game, as its front half shows up in a mockup image for an unknown desert level. The "Gator" name comes from source code found in the Nick Arcade prototype of the game[1].
The mechanical alligator badnik rolls around on its wheels and snaps its jaw to hurt Sonic. The badnik is placable in Hidden Palace Zone in the "Nick Arcade" prototype, along with other early badniks.
