Game.com handheld console
Game.com was a handheld console released by Tiger Electronics in 1997 with the hopes of overcoming Nintendo's Game Boy. Its target audience was more mature (it had licenses for games such as Duke Nukem 3D and Resident Evil), and it sported functions similar to electronic organizers, a touch screen, and online capabilities. Launch titles included such titles as Sega Indy 500, Duke Nukem 3D, and Mortal Kombat Trilogy. The system died in 2000. Most of its problems were due to a small lineup (only 20 games), poor distribution, and poor marketing.
