Fire Dunk is a basic attack move in Sonic Heroes used by Knuckles the Echidna. The move lets Knuckles use Sonic and Tails as ammunition to destroy enemies and obstacles. It can be used by jumping in the air and pressing

Team Rose also has their own Fire Dunk called Fire Knock. Unlike Fire Dunk, Fire Knock can be used while the team is still on the ground. It can also be used aerially, Jump Fire Knock, but the team must go into Fire Combination first. Once Amy and Cream are on Big's shoulders, he can hit them with his fishing rod in a baseball-like fashion at the enemies.
Team Chaotix's Fireball is the counterpart of Fire Knock. Once Espio and Charmy are in Vector's mouth, he can spit them at enemies or obstacles. Using it in the air is called Jump Fireball.
