Electric Egg Zone is the sixth and final level in Sonic Chaos. Unlike previous Eggman bases, this one seems a lot more computerized, giving it a techno feel. There are large circuitry panels, and exposed wires. This level is extremely hard, especially when compared with the remainder of the game. Very frustratingly, many parts of this level are based strictly on luck and no more, and it features many elements from Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Game Gear). The slanted bridges also make a return here, with spikes lying underneath. The boss of this level is one of the hardest in Sonic history. The first part of the boss has Robotnik in the ship that you see him in taking the red emerald at the beginning of the game, where he'll attempt to blast you away while you hit him TWENTY FOUR TIMES. His next form has Robotnik in a flying form, where you have to hit him but one time.

Sixth Zone, Sonic Chaos
Number of Acts: 3
Boss: Dr. Robotnik

Electric Egg Zone is the sixth level of Sonic Chaos for the Sega Game Gear / Sega Master System, coming after Aqua Planet Zone. In keeping with the other stages of this game, Electric Egg consists of two standard Acts followed by a shorter, third Act which contains the boss. Geographically, this Zone is located on South Island (as is the rest of Sonic Chaos).

Electric Egg is a sprawling techno-fortress, and the Doctor's final base in the game. Automatic laser cannons, bottomless pits, and spikes aplenty await Sonic and Tails as they close in on Eggman himself. The zone is criss-crossed by a network of winding vacuum tubes, reminiscant of Scrambled Egg Zone from the previous Master System adventure, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (8-bit). Unlike previous Eggman bases, this one seems a lot more computerized, giving it a techno feel. There are large circuitry panels, and exposed wires.

Instruction Manual Description

Breakaway floors, laser guns and indestructible booby traps are lurking dangerously in this final zone. Conveyer belts make for slippery progress. The Laser Walker can get you with its bounce shots.
