E.G.G. Station Zone is the fifth and final zone in Sonic the Hedgehog 4, with the title of Final Showdown in Space. Taking place in a space station similar to Sonic the Hedgehog 2's Death Egg Zone, the level is a one-act boss rush of the previous Sonic 4 bosses, though Eggman puts them in Pinch Mode from the outset. There is also a final boss which closely resembles Eggman's Giant Mech from Sonic 2. The chief difference between this and the Sonic 2 battle is that you are given the chance to earn rings before the initial boss run.
