The Diamond Dust Zone boss involves Robotnick's Eggmobile with 8 ice shooters. He will hover around the field, then hover near the ground while shooting ice balls. This is the time to hit him. He will then retreat back to the sky and drop a snowman onto the field. This snowman is a bomb and will explode when near it. Robotnick will then repeat the pattern. When you hit Robotnick, one of his ice shooters will be destroyed. After many hits, he will travel faster and shoot more snowmen before hovering. It takes 8 hits (for each ice shooter) to take down this boss.
