The Death Egg Robot is the seventh !final boss in Sonic Forces. This is a three-phase boss battle that is fought with all three non-DLC characters, though it is listed on the World Map as a Classic Sonic stage.

After destroying the power source for the Phantom Ruby in Final Judgement, it seemed that the Resistance had won, but it turned out to be a decoy set up by Dr. Eggman, and the original Phantom Ruby has been incorporated into his trump card. With the Eggman Army on the rise thanks to the Ruby, it is up to Sonic, his Classic self and the Avatar to stop him once and for all.

Defeat strategy

First phase

Death Egg Robot phase 1
Hits to defeat: 6(1 struck at him ball = 1 hit)

Classic Sonic faces this one.Listen, this is simpler than it seems.All you have to do is bounce the balls back on him by Spin Attacking when they come at you.If you fail, they'll brake the ground.Stand on the highest ground then Spin Attack to dodge the laser.The balls which touch him deal a hit.5 should do the job.After 2 hits he'll throw another row of balls at you.The ground goes straight to the edge then comes back to the other one.There are 3 groups of Rings in a 3x3 square one at the left edge, one at the middle and one at the right edge.

Second phase

Hits to defeat: At least 3(Each hit = a succesful burst fire/ a multiple chain of lightning Wispon strikes.

This is harder.I reccommend to have a lightning Wispon with an When In use,Immune power up.Now for the first two succesful hits you just have to dodge the rockets and arm, get to the arm an damage him but then, in the middle move back to the back and his arm will smash down,breaking the floor.Now move to the right sparingly doging the lasers.His arm will smash down but not break the floor and, hopefully, you can destroy him.He'll fall, revealing a gaint spider and it will regenarate Null Space..........

This is the end guys.Listen there are three rocks on random places.By running into them, you'll reaveal the prize - either 10 Rings, a Wisp or a Wisp and 10 Rings.Sonic Boost to him in order to allow for a couple Homing Attacks to damage him as Modern Sonic.If you manage to, then you can homing attack as him again shortly afterwards to send the WHOLE TRIO homing attacking him!If you do this succesfuly you'll do a succesful hit.His attacks are: 3 lasers first from 1 side then from the other.(1-2 hits.Recomes in 5-6 after the first missiles thrown, though is faster; fire(3-4 hits.Order first 1 in left and right of edges and middle then move 1 step to right.Repeat twice then circles of fire.) missiles and fast lasers(5 - 6 hits.Goes in order: 3 missiles, laser from right then laser from left.)Then you'll perform a Triple Boost after Modern Sonic shouts "There's nothing the three of us can't achive together!Victory is ours for the taking!TRIPLE BOOST!!.If you fail, you'll just have to catch back up with Sonic not shouting and him not attacking, plus you'll hear a secret, hidden mini-music while performing it.
