Chrome Gadget is the third Zone in the Competition Mode of Sonic the Hedgehog 3. It appears to be in an industrial area.

Overview

The only danger is a platform that takes the players down to the rest of the area if stood upon, as hitting the bottom of the platform will kill a player. There are fans that will raise a character from the ground to the next area, which is a big, U-shaped pit. Falling into the pit can cost precious time. If a player manages to avoid it, they will run into a path and hit a few bumpers, and then return to the beginning of the level.
