Level theme: industrial
Non-English names:
Balloon Park Zone | Desert Palace Zone

Chrome Gadget Zone is the third zone in the Competition Mode of Sonic the Hedgehog 3. It appears to be in an industrial area.

The only danger is a platform that takes the character down to the rest of the area if stood upon. Hitting the bottom of the platform will kill the character. There are fans that will raise the character from the ground to the next area, which is a big, U-shaped pit. Falling into the pit can cost precious time. If the player manages to avoid it, they will run into a path and hit a few bumpers, and then return to the beginning of the level.

Quotes

Ride moving platforms, bounce along bumper walls and use the fans to blow your character upwards.
