Chaos Blast is an attack in Shadow the Hedgehog. It is not one of Shadow's normal attacks, as certain requirements must be met in order to unleash Chaos Blast.

How to get it

To get Chaos Blast, Shadow must either destroy enough parts of a level, kill enough humans (or destroy GUN's robots) or destroy enough Egg Pawns (Egg Pawns only build up dark points in Sky Troops, Cryptic Castle and Mad Matrix). Once those requirements are met, Shadow glows red and yells out "Death to all who oppose me!" If you press a button (Y on the GameCube and possibly Xbox), Shadow unleashes Chaos Blast, which causes an explosion centered on him that damages enemies over a large radius.

Other Versions

In Sonic Battle, a similar version of Chaos Blast (called Chaos Burst) was available. It was exactly like Chaos Blast, except it was weaker, had a smaller blast radius, and it was available initially.
