Levels with the urban theme feature buildings, roads, and cars. This theme first appeared in Star Light Zone in Sonic the Hedgehog (16-bit).
These levels are distinct from those with an industrial theme in that they are generally easier and indicate a lesser presence of Dr. Eggman. They take place in an environment dominated by humans. This theme is present only in newer Sonic games, with Sonic R’s Radical City being an exception.
