Levels with the urban theme feature buildings, roads, and cars. This theme first appeared in Star Light Zone in Sonic the Hedgehog (16-bit).
These levels are distinct from those with an industrial theme in that they are generally easier and indicate a lesser presence of Dr. Eggman. They take place in an environment dominated by humans. This theme is usually present only in newer Sonic games; however, there are exceptions, like Sonic R’s Radical City.
