Buzz Bomber, called Beeton (ビートン) in the Japanese manual, is an enemy found in multiple zones in both Sega Genesis and Sega Game Gear versions of the original Sonic the Hedgehog game. They are airborne enemies that fly until just above Sonic and fire a bullet down diagonally at him. They then fly off rather quickly. It's easiest to defeat them during the pause immediately before they fire.
