The BreezeMedia:SonicDrift2 GG US manual.pdf[1] (ブリーズ)Media:SonicDrift GG JP manual.pdf[2] is an anthropomorphic, single seater convertible used by Amy Rose in the early Sonic the Hedgehog racing games. He was designed by Shinichi Higashi.[3]

Game appearances

Sonic Drift series

Making his debut in the Game Gear title Sonic Drift, Breeze is a blue and yellow car with a flexibly operating roof on the back. Unlike the other vehicles in the game, Breeze is anthropomorphized, featuring cartoony eyes in his headlights and a mouth right above the bumper. He is described as being a "strange car with a mind of his own," but also "a very gentle guy."Media:SonicDrift GG JP manual.pdf[2] He would return as Amy's racecar in the sequel, Sonic Drift 2.

In both games, the Breeze has high acceleration and moderate handling, but poor top speed.Media:SonicDrift GG JP manual.pdf[4]Media:SonicDrift2 GG US manual.pdf[1] For the car's special ability, Amy can use the "Heart Attack"Media:SonicDrift2 GG US manual.pdf[1], which drops a heart on the track that reverses the controls and reduces the speed of whoever drives into it.

Sonic the Hedgehog's Gameworld

In Sonic the Hedgehog's Gameworld, Amy uses the Breeze in the "Car Race" minigame to race the other characters around a circular track in a one-lap race.
