Bomb is an enemy found in the video game, Sonic the Hedgehog. Bomb walks back and forth, when approached it explodes into four projectile balls. It cannot be damaged in any way, only avoided.
Bomb is the only enemy whose design differs (slightly) between the 16-bit and 8-bit versions of Sonic the Hedgehog.[1]
Bomb is one of the few enemies not featured in the North American or European manuals and typically did not feature in merchandise, therefore does not have an official name outside of Japan. However, Sega of America's Dean Sitton claims to have named the enemy "Bomb".[2]
