This Badnik has two colour variants: a red version being found in Turquoise Hill Zone while a blue version is found in Mecha Green Hill Zone. They are based off of Sonic 1's Moto Bug (named "Motora" in the Japanese manual), but have a spring attached to the top, meaning they can only be destroyed via the sides.

Turquoise Hill Zone's boss, Great Bane Motora Gold is a bigger version of this Badnik.
