Blue Eagle, ブルーイーグル, is a GUN fighter jet that appears in some stages of Sonic Adventure 2 and part of the Fighter series. It's a basic jet fighter that flies overhead in a given trajectory and strafes the ground with bombs. It's somewhat difficult to hit, sometimes even the perpetrators of weird glitches for Sonic and Shadow, but awards 500 points when destroyed.

The parked Blue Eagles in Weapons Bed don't hurt Eggman when he touches them, nor does it drop a Chaos Drive when destroyed (it makes sense since it's not powered), but contrarily to the hunched Gun Hunter also present in the level, it awards no points upon destruction.

Blue Eagles return in the 3DS version of Sonic Generations, appearing in both Act 1 and Act 2 of Radical Highway. Unlike in Sonic Adventure 2, they can't be destroyed, just remaining stationary on the background and firing missiles towards the player.
