The Aqua BlastMedia:SonicRushAdventure DS US manual.pdf[1] (アクアブラスト) is the third watercraft which can be ridden in Sonic Rush Adventure. This hovercraft enables Sonic, Tails, Blaze and Marine to make further explorations away from Southern Island to places that previous watercraft cannot reach.

Sonic Rush Adventure incorporates a unique "Overworld minigame" for accessing the traditional platforming stages; this taking the form of an ocean voyage between islands, taken on whichever watercraft can best navigate the ocean conditions. Having long sailing range and capable of sailing over ice floes, the Aqua Blast is controlled similarly to the Wave Cyclone, though it moves forward automatically, so the player must move the stylus from side to side to steer it around incoming rocks, mines and sharks in the water.

The Aqua Blast is outfitted with a front-mounted cannon capable of blasting approaching pirates and mines. Tapping the Touch Screen will rapidly fire weaker blasts to deal low damage, while holding the stylus on the Touch Screen will charge a single, more powerful shot that is fired once the stylus is released from the Touch Screen. The Aqua Blast is also capable of spinning to deflect enemy projectiles by quickly sliding the stylus from side to side or pressing L or R, though this maneuver cannot do anything to larger obstacles.
