Aotento (青テント)[1] is an enemy Badnik from Route 99 in Sonic Advance 3. "Ao" (青) is the Japanese word for blue, while "tento" (テント) is short for "tentoumushi" (テントウムシ), the Japanese word for ladybird.
Overview
This mechanical ladybird will fly into the air for a short time when approached. They must be hit from below as hitting it on other sides will hurt the player. There is also a red variant named Akatento.
