Jenna

From Sonic Retro

<forumuser name="Jenna" /> Jenna is relatively unknown in the Sonic Community. She claims to have been around since around May of 1999 under different names. There is little proof of this, as there are no current backups of the SSRG around that time. After the all out war between the SSRG and Sonic CulT, she disappeared from the scene for a good 4 years, pursuing other interests, specifically her social life, Grand Theft Auto, and living it up as a home-schooled student.

At Retro

Jenna joined Sonic Retro, then Sonic 2 Beta on October 13, 2006. Before using all of her trial posts up, she "disappeared" for about two years. In her time away, she became a full member solely on Tweaker's whim, and shortly before returning in June of 2008, was promoted to Oldbie just 'cause.

Her Disappearance

As stated, shortly after joining, she suddenly left the scene. She was having some personal problems with her dad, who was pretty much trying to force her into a marriage with some jackass who she hated with a passion. So, she did what any teenager would do: She ran away. She hopped into her TransAm one night and drove off, intent on never returning. However, she got into a pretty bad wreck while on the road, completely fucking up the car. Not having reliable transportation, she walked on foot for about a month to Phoenix, Arizona, where she found a cheap place to stay. Her family still has no idea where she is, and she intends to keep it that way.

Today

Today, Jenna can be found slithering throughout the Internet, popping in from time to time going to random places with a variety of different names. Her current hangouts are Sonic Retro and #retro, as well as #general on the same server, and an irc channel called #pokepr0n. She's had a few people stab at her, calling her a furry for it, but she says she only hangs around simply because she was asked to. She is currently an IRC administrator on a friend's private IRC server, SophiaIRC, but who cares? It's private. :P

In July 2008 Jenna decided to leave the Sonic Retro scene completely, again.

Her Projects

Jenna rarely strikes out alone on any endeavors. She's either working with her long time friend Sophia, working with Katelynn on doomed hacking projects, or writing stuff with random people.

However, she does have one project she started to work on before her disappearance. Because of that, she didn't get to finish it. The hack (of Sonic 2) featured Tails as the main character, a working Super Tails, dynamic palettes for Oil Ocean Zone, and some pretty snazzy edits on the OOZ layout. The hack is currently discontinued as she and Katelynn design layouts for another hack.

Working with Katelynn, she attempted to revive her interest in Sonic DX, Sonic Spike, and Shadow DX, all pet projects of hers. Working with Sophia, she's currently working on a side scrolling Legend of Zelda game, similar in design to Zelda II.

Related Stuff

  • Her MySpace. She rarely checks it, but will once every two years, perhaps.
  • Her Facebook. This is also something she might rarely check.
  • Her member profile on Sonic Retro. Go ahead, click it. Make the view counter increase by massive amounts. She really enjoys the flattered feeling she gets.

Interesting Tidbits

  • Jenna is obsessed with her hair.
  • She's a natural red head, not to be confused with ginger. However, she likes to dye her hair blonde on occasion to offset this fact, even though we all know that red heads are the most superior life form in the galaxy.
  • She is also obsessed with her hair smelling like some sort of fruit; most of the time, strawberries is her main interest.
  • She often goes by the names JennaTheFox, Princess Cordona, and ThatGyrl.
  • A few of #retro's members have elected her to be Sonic Retro's unofficial model.
  • The only classic Genny Sonic game she hasn't beaten is Sonic 2. Yeah, that's right. She's only gotten to the last boss, couldn't beat him without cheating, and gave up.
  • She has a penchant for temporary tattoos. Shown in the picture above, she has a diamond on her arm, which much to her sadness was also temporary.
