Add info box/picture?
Could there be an info box and maybe some pictures on the game? --RGamer2009 02:55, 9 April 2011 (UTC)
- Sure, but we don't have any photos from the game, as far as I know. There's only a trailer which might turn out to be completely different from the final product.
If anything it should be added to the page as an external link, in my opinion. Nevermind it's already there, I am dumb. Nineko 10:04, 9 April 2011 (UTC)- Alright, we have details, trailers, and pictures. Could this be unlocked/updated? --RGamer2009 22:28, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah this page is kind of pointless without it being updated --SonicUltimateFan

Version Split
Just like what we have with Sonic Colours, perhaps it would be a lot better if there was a separate page on the 3DS version, as it will have a different level list and such compared to the non-portable console version. SOTI 19:33, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
- Once we have actual information, yes. Until then, a screenshot and few sentences do not an article make. - Scarred Sun 19:49, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
- I agree that in the future there should be a split. Same name, different game, see Sonic 1 8-bit vs Sonic 1 16-bit and the like Nineko 23:45, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
Level list
PS#60 versions now have a level list, from what I would definitely call a fairly reliable source; shouldn't this be added? -Afti 12:43, 24 June 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, but with caution, since the list may not be completely finalised. We also have a list of badniks somewhere on the board.
- EDIT: and then Squirrel realises the page is locked. I'll do it myself -Black Squirrel 15:01, 24 June 2011 (UTC)
- The page is actually semi-protected. For example, I can edit it. Nineko 17:19, 24 June 2011 (UTC)
Level page overhauls
With Sonic X Shadow Generations now out, I should bring to attention that all of the level pages are very outdated. In fact, they've been outdated for years. And then there are the level pages for Shadow Generations which have just been created and are all sub-stubs. I think a goal we need to work towards with them is to give them a much-needed expansion to bring them more in-line with level pages for other games. Here's how I think we ought to lay out the pages:
- Story - They're minor, but the pages have them. I'm thinking they'll go above the Overview sections like with the Rush and Rush Adventure level pages.
- Overview - Describe the levels themselves here. Most pages have writing on them already, but we could go more in-depth with them, like gimmicks and setpieces, and how both Acts differ from one another.
- Enemies - Brief enemy listings.
- Challenge Acts - Lists of the Challenge Acts available for each level and divided into Act-specific sub-sections, including names, screenshots, descriptions and rank times. These lists should be formatted much like the Cyber Space level listings.
- Special item locations - Information on where to find the Red Star Rings and Chao in Sonic Generations levels, and the Collection Keys in Shadow Generations levels. The latter could get a bit messy as the Challenge Acts in that game have their own Challenge Keys to collect. The idea behind this comes from how levels like in Sonic 1 8-bit and Sonic Adventure 2 have special item lists.

- Update: Every level page for both Sonic Generations and Shadow Generations has been updated to now feature Challenge Act and collectable lists, however they all need to have their blanks filled.
- On top of this, the rewards earned from these challenges will also need to be verified. This list for Green Hill claims to give you certain artwork and music pieces, but I have earned these particular rewards through other challenges during my playthrough of the game via SXSG and will need to be tested and changed accordingly. --BSonirachi (talk) 17:56, 26 October 2024 (EDT)
