Batbrain (Sonic the Hedgehog 16-bit)

Something peculiar about Sonic 1 - Batbrain, Spikes and Orbinaut aren't in the American or European manuals (or the Sonic Bible). What's the earliest known usage of these names? By 1993 they were all over the comics, books and trading cards, but I can't find anything earlier. Are there any 1991/1992 sources for these names?
And are they known to have any other foreign language names?
(Bomb isn't in the American/European manuals either. Did that ever have a name committed to print, outside of Japan?) --Pecky (talk) 15:56, 31 March 2020 (EDT)
