Sonic the Hedgehog was an American animated series in development at phuuz entertainment in 2007.[1][2] Based on the Sonic the Hedgehog video game franchise, the series was ultimately cancelled only a few months into development.
Overview
Work on the series began in May 2007 after Sega commissioned a Sonic the Hedgehog series from phuuz.[1] Concept art was drawn by phuuz employee Gary Montalbano, who designed environments for the series before much writing was done in an effort to have the visuals inspire storytelling.[2] By October 2007, development had ceased on the series.[1]
