Sonic X Shadow Generations: Dark Beginnings is an animated short and posted on official Sonic the Hedgehog social media channels by Sega to promote Sonic X Shadow Generations. It was first teased on Twitter on May 14, 2024[2] and revealed during the SEGA Presents: A New Era of Shadow. Shedding Light on the Ultimate Life Form panel at Anime Expo on July 6.
