- 1979 — Tracy Yardley, whose artwork has featured prominently in both Archie Comics and IDW Publishing’s line of Sonic the Hedgehog comics, is born.
- 2018 — Sonic Mania Plus Original Soundtrack, a CD, is released alongside Sonic Mania Plus for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC in Japan. Sonic Forces is made available for digital download on the Nintendo eShop in Hong Kong.
