- 1998 — Songs With Attitude, a mini-album featuring the theme songs from Sonic Adventure, is released in Japan. Issue #144 of Sonic the Comic is released in the United Kingdom.
- 2006 — The Wii is released in Japan, with Sonic the Hedgehog released as a launch title for the Wii Virtual Console.
- 2011 — Sonic Generations is released for Windows PCs in Russia.
- 2020 — Issue #35 of the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series by IDW Publishing is released in North America.
