The 1996-10-08 build of Sonic 3D: Flickies' Island, also referred to as the Saturn tech demo, is a prototype build of Sonic 3D: Flickies' Island for the Sega Saturn. It was released by drx during the February 23rd, 2008 proto release.
This is one of only two prototypes to feature an unfinished version of the menu render with a different expression. The other prototype to feature this render is the Mega Drive "825" prototype.
