Rocket the Sloth is a character who appears in the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog television series. He claims to be the fastest sloth on Mobius, which is probably why he is named Rocket. He lives with his sister, his mom, and his dad.
History
In the episode "Slowwww Going", he is the one that sent Sonic a distress signal in hopes he would protect his family. He is put in charge by Sonic of a warning gong which will warn Sonic of intruders. Later in the episode, Tails accidentally zaps him with a ray gun built by Dr. Robotnik to slow down Sonic after breaking its power source, greatly increasing his speed. With his newfound speed, he and his family wind up rescuing Sonic as he was held hostage by Scratch and Grounder.
Rocket later made a couple of minor appearances in later episodes of the series; he attended the testimonial banquet in "Hero of the Year", and he and his sister listened to Miss Saccharine's fairy tales in "Sonically Ever After".
