Metal Blade was a Zone planned for the unreleased Sonic X-treme. Appearing to have not made it past the testing phase despite a considerable amount of investment spent into its planning, only its name,[1] act list, and twelve preliminary music tracks[2] (composed by Chris Senn[3]) remain of the Zone. The titles of said music tracks hint at Metal Blade's potential themes, such as a dark cityscape and heavy industrialism.[2]
