- Back to: Chaotix (prototype 0119)/Comparisons.
Leave from the left hand side of the level, and the combi ring stars briefly turn huge.
While the layout of the attraction information is a match for the 1229 and 0111 prototypes, the "attraction information" sign spins.
This is the first known build with a fully working Combi Catcher. There is no time limit and you can't pick the partner that has just jumped off screen (in this case, Mighty). The Combi Catcher platform/banner on the left also does not disappear when you're done.
The level select hasn't changed since the 0111 build, but is still not final.
World Entrance 1, which in the final triggers the Metal Sonic fight, is a different kind of broken than previous builds. It is now a semi-functioning copy of World Entrance 0, with no objects (so no Metal Sonic), incorrect palettes and some odd scrolling. You cannot escape this level through normal means.
The final boss has been partially implemented in World Entrance 2. The cutscene plays, though smoke doesn't emit from Metal Sonic and some animations are missing.
Only the first phase of the fight has been implemented, and it's buggy. Scattered rings are invisible and the collision is strange, making it much more difficult than the final game. You can get behind the boss in this phase, which you can't do in the final, and if the boss is too far to the right, a mirrored version will appear on the left hand side of the level. The floor palette and geometry is also different.
Beat the boss and there are explosions. Its arm is left behind, and then the credits roll.
