Chaotic Space Zone is the true final zone of Sonic the Hedgehog Pocket Adventure. This zone uses The Doomsday Zone background and an 8-bit rendition of Sky Sanctuary Zone music. It is only accessible when Sonic has all the Chaos Emeralds. There are no platforming elements as the level starts off with the boss battle. Once this zone is cleared, the Good Ending will be granted to the player.
Boss battle
Sonic starts the zone as Super Sonic. Several Rings are laid out in the level and must be collected to avoid losing a life as the ring counter is constantly counting down. When the ring counter reaches zero, Sonic will return to his normal state and fall to his death.
The boss is a flying machine that shoots three missiles at Sonic, who must use a dash move to reflect those missiles back at the boss to defeat him. On occasion he also shoots round projectiles at Sonic, which will knock him back if he is hit by them.
