Water Palace is the sixth level in Sonic Generations 3DS, coming from the portable title Sonic Rush. Classic Sonic had nods to classic underwater levels from the past, while Modern takes it the same way as in the original with high speed water running and water slides.

Act 1

The classic act is practically almost all water, with some land parts that have them one gimmick previously used to Pirate's Island of Sonic Rush Adventure, the water pump and to activate them, the classic Sonic has to drive the pump. In aquatic part, he has to deal with Knight Paws, E-1004 Klagen and Sea Paws.

Act 2

In the modern act, which has great resemblance to its original stage in Sonic Rush, Sonic uses water slides that lead to other paths, floating platforms and has a small water part that can be caused by the misuse of the Boost.
