Virtual Sonic is an album featuring music connected to and inspired by the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. While a handful of songs are taken from both Sonic the Hedgehog Spinball and Sonic & Knuckles, a number of tracks contained therein are exclusive to this release.
The writing and recording of the material that would eventually become Virtual Sonic occurred in 1993.
