In his early years, Neo started a lot of silly projects that never went anywhere and were eventually swallowed by rather fortunate hard disk wipes and sudden bursts of maturity, leading up to his coming of legal age. He has devoted a surprisingly large amount of time to making additional content for [[Sonic Robo Blast 2]], though fascinatingly nothing of worth seems to have popped up there either.

Contrary to general knowledge, Neo actually has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and is a capable programmer, even though he has never really produced anything of worth [emphasis needed]. However, in 2017, Neo announced he was no longer working on the project due to creative differences, instead creating a blog called Sonic 3 Unlocked, talking about technical details and secrets within Sonic 3 & Knuckles. As a side project, in 2013 Neo developed SA2: The New Challengers, one of the first modifications of the Steam version of Sonic Adventure 2, thanks primarily to MainMemory's efforts in decrypting and disassembling the game's executable. The amount of experience in assembly programming acquired while working on this project heavily contributed towards Neo taking up programming on Sonic 3 Complete as well.
