KingofHarts is currently working on a fangame called Sonic Trilogy Enhanced. This is a fangame that will feature remakes of all of the levels from [[Sonic 1]], [[Sonic 2]], and [[Sonic 3 & Knuckles]], as well as scrapped levels, [[Master System]] levels, and some extra surprises. Having been started in June of 2010, it has just really gotten off the ground, and KoH is looking to get the first demo released sometime in 2012. Due to work, and other things, however, progress is quite slow. He is looking for any and all assistance from the community.

One thing that has slowed him down, has been building an engine. In early 2012, he decided that, in order to understand how to build his own engine, he needed to understand how the original ones worked. He set aside working on the engine to take up learning how to hack. While learning, he took to hex editing quite quickly, and due to feeling like he had WAY TOO MANY hacking utilities on his computer, just to hack one game, he decided to have a try at writing his own, in GML. It currently exists under the working title: Sonic Trilogy Editor, and currently has a fully functional palette editor. A tile editor is in the works. His goal is for one program to edit all aspects of Sonic's 1-3K... A program that could end up on the Retro repository in open-source GMK format, so that others may edit and modify it to improve upon his work. One idea he also considered, was a special version of the utility that could hack into his fan game, once it's completed.

<forumuser ID="9962" />KingofHarts is, in a nutshell, a fan of two things: Sonic the Hedgehog, and professional wrestling. He is from the US, but currently works and lives in China as an English teacher.

KingofHarts is currently working on a fangame called Sonic Trilogy Enhanced. This is a fangame that will feature remakes of all of the levels from Sonic 1, Sonic 2, and Sonic 3 & Knuckles, as well as scrapped levels, Master System levels, and some extra surprises.

Started in Mid-April 2012, it's making fairly good progress. All updates can be found in the General Project/Screenshot Thread of the Engineering/Reverse Engineering forum.

He cites Team Megamix as his biggest inspiration as far as his work involving Sonic the Hedgehog is concerned, and hopes that his project will be only nearly as good as their AWESOME hack: Sonic Megamix.
