K2J

K2J (short for "Kool Kid Joe", and sometimes known as K2JMan) is a guy who came to know Sonic™ via his need for a good action game for his Gamecube between Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Mario Sunshine. As a result, he is a prototypical SA2 fanboy. However, he has since played pretty much every Sonic game (save for Knuckles Chaotix and the two Rivals games), and believes SA1 to be a better game than its successor.

"Role" in Sonic Community

In discussions, he tends to be the "news guy" and is the de-facto moderator of the Sonic subreddit and typically will barge into forum topics with a new link or tidbit of information, because everyone seems to ignore him otherwise. His biggest claim to fame for the Sonic community is scanning the first Nintendo Power article on Sonic Chronicles, revealing Shade.

Though he is working toward being a software engineer, he typically doesn't deal with the low-level type of things that Retro's hacking community centers on. Nevertheless, he pops his head in every now and then, especially on SADX hacking, due to it not being assembly.

He updates the wiki occasionally, but more frequently just browses. He also has horrible fanon ideas, which, while he tries to keep away from discussions, should not be asked about without being prepared for insanity.

Other Interests

In addition to dissecting the psychology of a fictional anthropomorphic echidna, K2J's interests include Pokémon, Ace Attorney, Ghost Trick, Kirby, and Meteos. He has recently become a fan of F-Zero, and hopes for a WiiU launch title so he doesn't have to keep using his machine with memory data to relive futuristic racing.

As you can probably tell, K2J only owns Nintendo consoles, sometimes begrudgingly. He has recently obtained a gaming-capable PC, however.
