The second zone is also located in a tropical area, but this time the presence of large fruits, these in turn are the main obstacles and gimmicks this stage. It consists of a giant apple chasing Sonic that can harm you if you contact a giant pineapple Sonic must repel, and a giant watermelon as apple can damage Sonic. The goal is to bring these fruits to blenders and so do "juice" them using them as bridges to other planetoids, but if Sonic enter long with the blades of the blender it will have an instant death.

Zone 3

Zone 3 is set in an underwater pipe where Sonic should move by rails and avoid giant eels that suddenly appear throughout the stage. mine carts are also seen on stage as obstacles, of which Sonic must jump to avoid taking damage.

Zone 4

Zone 4 is displayed again in the tropical part of the stage, and this time a final struggle with the Master Zik.

3DS version

Zone 1

The first zone of Tropical Coast mainly contains spiked islands, of which Sonic must progress.

Zone 2

The second zone begins on a small island within a large tube in which Sonic must destroy Moto Bugs to unlock a large spring that will bring Sonic to another island. In this other island, Sonic has to roll apples to certain holes, if done right will appear another spring that will take the player to another island.

Zone 3

Zone 3 is a completely 3D zone, where it is mainly the use of Yellow Wisp, which may help in waterpours.
