Quick Japanese lesson - "Waku Waku" (わくわく) is onomatopoeia, so it's meant to represent some sort of noise. There is no way to translate this properly into English (because our language doesn't have these things), so we don't.
Better example is Puyo Puyo (ぷよぷよ). "Puyo" is meant to be the sound that's made when the blobs drop, so the more accurate translation would be "bloop". Unless you think it should be "ploop" or "gloop" or some other subjective way of interpreting the sound in written English.
