I found two independant sources which referred to this as Spikes - the Sonic the Hedgehog Annual and the packaging for some collectible figures. I wouldn't have moved it if I wasn't sure. - Hivebrain 02:40, 2 November 2009 (UTC)

Iron Sonic had apparently not found any instance of the name in the Annual, which was the primary basis for the renaming of the article. Are we sure that the collectible figure packaging is a credible source for the name of the enemy, though? As I recall, Dean Sitton explained that Yadrin in particular never had an official localized name, and it certainly wasn't listed in any manual. We would need to determine the credibility of the packaging before we could make any solid judgments as to whether or not it's fit to determine the name of the article. --Tweaker 08:49, 2 November 2009 (UTC)

If we just had one source that said "Spikes", I'd agree with you. I specifically waited until I had a second source as confirmation before moving the page. Dean Sitton just said that he didn't remember and couldn't find it in his notes. - Hivebrain 03:38, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

I'd go with spikes. Just link to both sources when mentioning his name in the article. I think what may have happened is Sega came up with a name for Spikes some time after Dean Stitton quit being involved in the games localization.--MUser 14:14, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I had tried to find the name Spikes, and couldn't find any source to it at all at the time. I was told that it came from the Sonic the Hedgehog Yearbook, but after reading through all of it (what a mess that was), I never found any reference to the name Spikes. Since you found a couple of sources confirming the name, the reversion makes sense.--Iron Sonic 03:11, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
