I've put more effort then I would have liked into researching stuff for this game since our info is paltry and wrong.
June 10th, 2017: The game is soft-launched in the United Kingdom and Russia for Android devices: https://web.archive.org/web/20170612165130/https://www.sonicstadium.org/2017/06/sonic-runners-adventure-out-now-in-russia/
August 9th, 2017: Gameloft releases a J2ME version that can only be downloaded from their website and is available to download from anywhere in the world. There is literally zero info that this version even actually exists except for this article (https://web.archive.org/web/20170612163758/https://toucharcade.com/2017/06/12/sonic-runners-adventure-released-on-gamelofts-android-store-in-some-countries/) that says a J2ME version is coming later. There is also a Sonic Stadium podcast that presumably talks about this version as well since it is dated October 2017 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OVpcUg9psjU), but I'm not going to listen to it. The date comes from Wikipedia and this HAS TO be the Java version because there is no way a professional website is selling an Android or iOS game exclusively from their website with no way to get it otherwise. I have no idea if the version still exists on their website. They do have an option on their game pages that says "E-Mail this game to me" but I have no idea what that actually does since it sits alongside Android and iOS links (https://www.gameloft.com/en/game/sonic-runners-adventure-mobile).
December 20th, 2017: Android and iOS versions are released worldwide. The game costs $2.99 in the United States.

January 2023: The game is removed from the Google Play Store. We can tell this is the case because the Wayback Machine captured it's Google Play link twice in January 2023. One link is good, the other is an error (https://web.archive.org/web/20230315000000*/https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftICHM).
